MISSION STATEMENT
Life brings moments of both joy and challenge, and during those times, we all seek meaningful connection. As sisters of Upsilon Kappa Delta, we know that no matter the circumstance, we can always count on each other. Our bond is built on unwavering support, loyalty, and the shared commitment to our Letters and the values they represent.
We are dedicated to uplifting our communities through education, awareness, and service. By actively engaging with and addressing issues that affect those around us, we strive to create positive, lasting change.
Equally important is the joy of sisterhood itself. Through social events and shared experiences, we build strong relationships, grow as individuals, and create lasting memories that enrich our lives.
At Upsilon Kappa Delta, we believe that through unity, service, and sisterhood, we empower one another to pursue promising futures with purpose, pride, and love.

Upsilon Kappa Delta was originally founded at Chico State University.

OUR PILLARS
ACADEMICS
It is the reason we came together, and it is the reason we continue to thrive as we do. The pursuit of higher education is essential to life as a Sister of ΥΚΔ. If it were not for the university, none of us would be the Lovely Ladies we are today. So it is only fitting that we do everything we can to ensure all Sisters have the resources they need to lead a successful academic career. Each Chapter uses various tools to promote the importance of Academics within its active body. A few examples include Study Hours, Rewards Programs, Workshops and Scholarships. Before we can take care of others we need to take care of ourselves.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
One thing ΥΚΔ never forgets about is the community and the never ending needs for improvement and help. ΥΚΔ believes that in order to grow one must be willing to walk in the shoes of others and help those who may not be as fortunate. Our community service endeavors are used as stepping stones in becoming better leaders and well rounded ladies.
SISTERHOOD
The most precious truth about ΥΚΔ is our motto: “A Sisterhood 2 Tight 2 Break.” It’s not just a phrase, it’s a promise, a bond, and the heart of everything we do. Our Sisterhood is built on love, loyalty, and lifelong connections that extend far beyond college life. Being a part of ΥΚΔ means surrounding yourself with women who uplift, support, and inspire you every step of the way. The relationships you build here will shape how you connect with others for the rest of your life. We grow together, celebrate each other’s wins, and stand strong through every challenge because we do it as one. ΥΚΔ is defined by the strength of our bond and the pride we have in our letters. Through our shared experiences, we gain not only admiration and respect, but a lasting love for one another. This is more than Sisterhood, it’s family. And it’s forever.
